As nostalgic as I am, I just can't seem to move on from this high school project of mine. Glad it's appreciated and being put into use by other folks who need help. You can find my other stuff there too.

Five Shades of BLACK
When it was announced that we’re going to watch
an Indian movie regarding a special child, what I had in mind was the movie
Every Child is Special. Waiting for Saturday to come, my anticipation was
gradually building up. I had already watched that movie once and I was so
struck by the story, with matching lively song and dance numbers which made the
movie even better and a memorable one. But I was wrong, so wrong.
For what was played on the laptop was an
entirely different thing. Whether I would be delighted since I’ll get to see a
new movie or not, that I did find out after two hours of watching it. That
movie was Black, an after going home, I searched for its tidbits of information
and read that it was produced last 2005.

San Francisco Flower
I am not a flower lover. It just so happened that I was entrusted the key to our room. Thus starts the beginning of my everyday responsibilities of waking up five in the morning and doing lots of odd jobs every now and then. One major part of my routine was finding three fern leaves, or as we commonly call it – pakô. At first I have no idea what the hell is pakô so the “ayun oh, sa gilid, ayan ayan, hindi iyan, nasa harap mo na turuan portion” lasted around five minutes in our school garden.
Over time, I have developed my personal preference whenever I set out my journey of picking up pakô: lusciously green and of the same sizes. The next thing that I did was to fill the translucent and longitudinal vase with tap water. Now, where is this now vase-with-three-ferns displayed? It was placed at the center of our teacher’s table, surrounded by a calendar, pen holder and table trays. But it did not end there.

Chewed Longing
I envy my grade five self-made papier-mâché project. I can’t believe that it will still be ‘alive’ up to this day considering my age at that time and that it was my first time making it. I remember that we were just generally told of what to do. And so I gathered pieces of used bond and manila papers and a piece of tin can. Firstly cooking gawgaw (cornstarch) so I can have plenty of paste, then cutting the papers into small pieces and finally pasting as many as I can so that eventually it becomes so thick, I foolishly paved my way towards the first part. After it completely dried up, I laboriously cut it into halves, removed the tin can, pasted additional layers of paper again and voila, my very cheap paper mache pen holder was done. And for beauty’s sake, I managed to add designs into it by painting it royal blue and pasting bits of egg shells shaped into flowers.

Noblesse Oblige: A CSN Story
“First,
we are born in the same galaxy. Born of the same species. Our lifetimes
overlap. The meetings between humans are so unlikely as to be miraculous . . .
Everyone is made up of a collection of 1 percent chances. Thus, I’m dazzled by
the fact that there are so many such miracles in this world.” – Arakawa Under
the Bridge
Monday. February 17, 2014. New Era
University Special Education Program Department. In less than three hours, my
life has become richer. In just a short span of time, it was as if I travelled
back in the past and into the future of someone else’s life. A supposed mere
stranger has become someone I would definitely never forget. I was brought in
to his life story, not by himself but by someone who cares about him, by
someone who’s more than proud of him. He is Nielsen. And Abby loves him.

10 Things in Life I Learned in Psych 101
Psych 101 is an introductory course to Psychology. I took it last First Sem A.Y. 2013-14. Of course the images aren't mine, but the wordings are. Around the time I did this, I just finished making my PE Band & Ball poster project, that's why majority are exercise-related images. Talk about recycling! Haha.

Psych 101 Learning Activity #3: All About Learning
Part I: “I Can’t Therefore I Will”
When the next “task” among the series of learning for our zone of proximal development was given, I was actually excited and glad that it has something to do to with learning itself, be it learning a new skill, overcoming our fears, breaking a bad habit or establishing a good/new one.
I have decided to correlate my actions with what I've written in my dream journal. From there, I have realized that I need to strengthen my connection with other people, for I have been caught up in the cycle of everyday depression. And since the best way to cure that emotional and mental “phenomena” of mine is to straighten out my relationship first with my very own family, I made my personalize calendar of action points.
What’s that? Well, it’s just my way of establishing a good habit, at least for me, a habit of everyday interactions with the members of my family. Because honestly, I’m not really close to my parents and older sister, only with my 8 year old little brother. Most of the time, a day just pass without me talking to anyone, I mean after coming from school, I do my stuff, eat, sleep, wake up, and repeat the process. What a lazy-ass, standoffish am I! I suck! Boo me! Rawrr!
